The Climate Crisis is the most important challenge that we are currently facing. It can be easy to slip into hopelessness while watching environmental regulations get thrown out almost daily, but that kind of mindset never solved much. The only way we are going to get through this, and we will, is by not giving up the fight. This is something that has to be addressed on both the macro and micro levels. We need to stop buying so much plastic, but also fight for policy and regulation that reduces the amount of plastic we see on the store shelves.

So where do you start? One way is with education. Climate Science is an organization entirely made up of volunteers that have created a website, app, and even books for children, to make information on climate easy to understand and free! There is even a team working on translating all of our content into as many languages as possible.

It has been a fantastic experience to be able to bring my illustration and data visualization skills to such an amazing project. Currently, I create around five images per week, all of which follow their visual guidelines. Shown here are just a small handful of my contributions. The rest can all be viewed on the Climate Science website, along with the work of my brilliant team members.
